RE: Missouri at Kentucky: the most meaningless "border" game in the nation
Do more people know there is a border between Missouri and Kentucky, or Missouri and Tennessee?

Oddly enough...Missouri and Tennessee share the title of most states bordered....with 8 apiece.

Big difference between a river and a great lake or ocean.

Except that its possible to swim between UP Michigan and Minnesota.

Doesn't Delaware share a border with Pennsylvania? If so, I submit Delaware against Penn State or even Temple. Iowa and South Dakota as well.

And oh so close, Texas and Colorado, just a panhandle away.

Driving from MO to IL and then from IL to KY does not qualify as surpassing the MO/KY border.

As to your other attempt to defeat it, yes I put that "main body" part because I did see that there was (at least one, that I found) tiny enclave of KY that is stranded across the river that does have a road into MO.

Nice try with WI/MI, but it's obvious that the UP is part of the main body of MI and there are several roads between WI and UPMI.

So you lose that one too.

There is no need to do this back and forth, because we all know you never admit being wrong. But you just contradicted yourself here attempting to "prove" your point, and no your wording did say what you tried to say.

It does. Also Delaware does share an island/peninsula with Virginia (and Maryland), and is separated from Virginia by about 35 miles. Gives you a few more options. 05-stirthepot

Part of Missouri is in the Memphis DMA, so I'd venture that more people are aware of them. There's also a freeway connection between the two (I-155).

Of course I am probably the only person posting on here that has traveled on it...

And using the US 60/62 bridges, you are only in Illinois for about two miles crossing from KY to MO.

U.S. 62 must be the only road in the U.S. that crosses over both the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers.

I-64 crosses the Ohio at Louisville and the Mississippi at St. Louis

I-70 crosses the Ohio at Wheeling WV and the Mississippi at St. Louis

US 50 crosses the Ohio at Parkersburg WV and the Mississippi at St. Louis.

US 52 crosses the Ohio at Huntington WV and the Mississippi at Savanna IL

... Yes I'm bored

US-62 is one of only 2 highways to cross the Ohio River multiple times (twice).

I-275 (Cincinnati loop) is the other.

There's one place where you can step foot in four states at the same time:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_Corners

And I bet you can get on a really, really tall building in Philadelphia and see

There was a very hilarious scene regarding that in the new "Vacation" movie.

I didn't misunderstand. I just apparently have a better grasp of the English language than you do. And as your track record here is 0-77 in terms of every knowing what you are talking about, I will repeat, your premise is faulty and incorrect and has been proven so. 07-coffee3

You have no actual counter-argument. Surprise, surprise.

Oh fun, let me try the "make up numbers game". Your record is: 0-13278124.

Northwest Angle (other weird geography facts)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northwest_Angle

Except for minor surveying errors, it is the only place in the United States outside Alaska that is north of the 49th parallel, which forms the border with Canada from the Angle west to Washington State.

It is one of only six non-island locations in the 48 contiguous states that are exclaves of the U.S. although not directly connected to them by land. At 49.22° north latitude, it is the northernmost township in Minnesota and the northernmost point in the contiguous 48 states.

Ok, a little late on this, but there's a real line in the water between Michigan and Minnesota. Trust me, it's there 03-wink

Going over your head is not the same as no argument. I actually laid it out pretty clear, and you responded essentially with "nuh-uh." When I said I didn't want a back and forth, if had nothing to do with "responding" to you. It was because you respond with bull****, faulty opinions, and then present them as fact, then argue about it.
