Cincy QB
He is going to own this league in a year or two. Might as well recruit to kill him.

RE: Cincy QB
Was he really that good or was our defense just that bad? For the most part he had all the time in the world in the pocket with no pressure and his receivers were so open that a decent HS QB could have made the throw. I'm not saying he's bad at all, but he struggled a bit under pressure the few times we were able to get to him, especially on the last throw he made.

Moore came out firing. If anything, he showed a little inexperience handling pressure late in the game, but he was flat out throwing darts once he had his chance.

I'm guessing that he knew the starter was wobbly, and prepared himself for the opportunity. He also knew where Memphis is vulnerable.

I think it's all of the above.

cincy is loaded at receiver too - there were some amazing catches that he under or over through a bit last night.

RE: Cincy QB
He hit some incredible passes. A couple of those td passes were in stride, on the numbers, and through double coverage. Most college qb's can't make those passes.

RE: Cincy QB
Being under pressure or NOT being under pressure makes a huge difference in how a player looks and performs. This is true in almost any sport where contact is allowed.

Better pass rush = fewer darts thrown.

I thought he played really well. But he had all day in the pocket. I mean the Tigers never pressured him except on a few blitzes.

RE: Cincy QB
He was poised and had a lot of time in the pocket. Plus he has some very experienced and athletic WRs who picked our zone to pieces. The lack of a pass rush put a lot of pressure on our DBs last night and allowed the Cincy QB to perform like he was in the backyard with his buddies.

RE: Cincy QB
He's legit. Wasn't easily rattled in hostile environment. Make quick decisions. Hit his spots. When front 4 broke thru, he got rattled and coverage was good downfield, so he threw it away. Several throws were deep against zone or double coverage. Remember 1-2 nicely placed over a guy in zone. Gunner is a stud QB who was #1-#2 QB out of HS, but the backup has stronger arm. Hayden Moore of Cincy is a darn good one...And So too is Brady Davis who is ahead of Paxton a bit when Paxton was at this same stage in our program...My Buddy Paxton is gonna be a huge star and so too is gonna be Brady Davis....Davis vs Moore is coming years will be fun...Unless Big 12 goes with Memphis/ USF/UCF or Tulane over Cincy.....The World Is Ours Memphis....

RE: Cincy QB
He had an excellent offensive line protecting him. He had lots of time to complete many of those passes. That being said.....he was pretty accurate and has a great arm. Cincy is really fortunate to have such a great backup that is only a Freshman. He can easily start the rest of the season and Cincy does not lose much... if Kiel has any more injury issues.

That honestly probably will be the best game of his career. I'm calling it a fluke.

Statistically it may be the best game of his career but that guy is poised to have a great career. He looked better than Kiel to me.

Cincy fans have a lot to look forward to with Moore.
