I don't know what the official attendance was, but a sellout looked possible. The stands were pretty full and it was raining all day, so everybody knew it was going to be a wet and messy game. At this point in our program a full house is a win.

You guys have a potent D. If not for the dog and pony show that you call "49er offense", you guys would have won tonight.

Really proud of our fanbase tonight, packed house despite the weather. The students showed up and they are starting realize what football is all about...a big party.

It was announced in the 4th at over 17,000.

I wish people would stay in their seats instead of walking the concourse though. Quite seriously 1k-1500 people just milling around, probably because the views are better than their seats.

Charlotte has no QB, not a one. And the OL is in shambles due to injuries to the entire left side (just not a deep team in year 3), and the OC is an idiot. A blithering, stupefying idiot. FAU could not stop Kalif Phillips, yet Mullen (OC) kept going away from him deep in FAU territory, and trying to force a passing game.

Also, the next time Charlotte runs a screen pass will be the first. Holy crap.

id rather have rainy and mid 60s. I can dress for that instead of 95 degrees at 12 oclock like we had against buffalo.

Nice win FAU. Stayed for the entire game and am still water logged the next day. Your defense was really good. I actually thought ours was just as good or better. We gave you guys a couple of short fields on TOs and it cost us. Good luck the rest of the season.

Glad we got a win, but that was some of the UGLIEST football I have ever seen on both sides. Those turnover stats are just crazy.

I hope that weather, at least, played a role in some of those TOs.

Some pics form last night. Excellent crowd. "blackout" was announced late in the week, via social media/email only. I was surprised how it turned out. Last coupla shots are just an example of how hard it was raining. The stairways were waterfalls. No joke.

Try Tank Norman. He was a QB in high school.

He scored our only TD last night, of course that was on an interception return. Maybe we should give him a shot. QB play this season has been pretty bad.

Wildcat rarely works and defenses quickly cop to it (with notable exceptions, including the NFL)
