Game Week: LSU (almost)
Okay, I know it's way too early to talk about but I was reading this and .....looking beyond this week's Army game to the game vs #8 ranked LSU, this does not bode well against an EMU defense that cannot stop the run....I mean this could be really, really bad...

RE: Game Week: LSU (almost)
No doubt about it, Fournette is a beast and there is no way EMU is going to come close to stopping him. He'll probably get 200 yards and sit most of the second half.

Can we e-mail a moderator and ask to have Fournette removed from the LSU roster?

On the bright side, he's destroyed everyone this year, so we wont exactly be alone.

RE: Game Week: LSU (almost)
I just hope we come out of this game injury free. We seem to racking up the key injuries so far this year.

I know we tend to forget there are only 11 or 12 seniors on this team and 33 newcomers in 2015 alone not counting 2014 redshirt frosh so as I said a while back this season seems more like an extended training camp-try different players and see which ones can play.

We all know we need to do games like LSU to have a football program.

Like Boy Scout with latrine duty it won't be pretty but its necessary.

Put 8 in the box and let them throw for 600 yards. Rather see that then 500 yards rushing. Plus, every time they pass there is a chance for a tip, pick or incompletion. McCaslin is most likely having nightmares thinking about LSU. Hopefully the army game goes well.

RE: Game Week: LSU (almost)
Syracuse is doing their best to make it a game with LSU right now. It's 7 to 3 LSU at half time. A faked Field goal at the end of the second-quarter almost gave Syracuse the lead. They're being successful by rotating between their running game dink and dunk passing, screen passing but more importantly running the wildcat on virtually every fourth down. Their strategy seems to be working.

It is still early (or half time), but BG, CMU, and NIU are playing very well.

I'm trying to find the MAC dogs and I can't figure out who they are...

Loving the MAC stepping up and being competitive. Very underrated football conference.

RE: Game Week: LSU (almost)
Syracuse is down to their fifth string quarterback who is a walk on. His last start was for the JV squad at an NAIA school. He did throw a nice 40 yard touchdown pass in the third quarter to get Syracuse within seven however LSU is beginning to get warmed up now.

Good news: We'll be on national TV.

Bad news: We're playing LSU with the Heisman Trophy caliber RB.

Also a good time to give other players actual playing time and see what they can do. We'll need to rotate to avoid injuries.

Fournette is going to break the single game NCAA rushing record if Les lets him play a half.
