#8 OSU beat Minnesota late in the season last year by 7 and turned the FB over 3 times against Indiana. #7 Buckeyes were up 21-20 going into the 4th quarter in Columbus and managed a couple of late scores to win 42-27.

How do you have it being a positive for Toledo hanging close with a 6-7 Buckeye team, yet in the same thought try to discredit OSU for a close game with 8-5 Minnesota?

I think in all your defensive posturing, the biggest thing your overlooking is the #1 ranking. In all your examples, never was OSU #1 when those things occurred.

It's kind of a big thing in college football.

I'm rooting for Toledo to not lose a game until the NIU matchup. I want this fight to be epic.

I could care less about rankings. Just win.

Or they are the defending national champs, was the first unanimous #1 ranked team, they have an intact team with lots of depth, and NIU was 35 pts dogs. First time since Urban Meyer was coach tOSU was held under 300 yards. Don't hate... congratulate. Congratulations on your wins Toledo, see you in November.

Yes. And somehow I will convince my boss I need to take a "business trip" to our Northbrook office that day.

Good grief, based on this Rocket fan reaction you would have thought NIU took their girlfriend to the prom and did the deed, all NIU did was make out with the Bucks lol, relax Rocket fans. You have a great season going, so try and suppress your #Rocketenvy

Most everyone on this board thinks Toledo is the best team in the MAC right now, but I think its ridiculous to compare resumes after 3 games, lets get realistic here please. Toledo has all the advantages schedule wise, they are in the best position noone is arguing that. Weird things can happen and just because Toledo should win it on paper doesnt mean its a lock.

And that OSU thing, I Hope you arent referring to the last time the Rockets were in the Horeshoe, wasn't that a sub-500 OHio State team?

Im sorry to say this but there are way way way too many trolls on this board now between utpotts, todd, and george

That Ohio State team was still loaded with Jim Tressel football players, just a moron as a head coach. But if you need more, BG and Ohio have been in that spot before. Hell BG was inside the red zone with under 2 minutes left in the game. Add Marshall to that list as well.

BTW, this board is free. I can ******* post here if I want too. It's no different than when you troll the Toledo board.

Go cry somewhere else.

This conversation is irrelevant because Toledo still has to suffer their yearly loss to NIU.

This comes from the guy who cracks jokes about the Boston Marathon bombing. You have zero credibility.

I love Childer's, he always REPS NIU hard and seems genuinely enthusiastic discussing our beloved....not sure if he's afternoon drive or day time, but whoever interviews Rod Carey every Tuesday really seems to like Carey a lot....good all around on Sirius XM

It was a mess of a (#15) Buckeye team the Rockets played in 2011. A NIU win last Saturday would have certainly topped a Rocket win over the Buckeyes in 2011. Both were losses and they mean crap. If you noticed I did post OSU's rankings. Once you beat #1, they are not #! anymore.
If a MAC team knocked off #1, they would drop in the Polls like a rock.

Unless it was an SEC team.
