Cool OT: Robert Lewandoski
Robert Lewandowski scores FIVE TIMES IN NINE MINUTES! For those of you who are not soccer fans let me explain how impressive this is. It is very rare when an ENTIRE team manages to score five times in an ENTIRE 90 minute game. One dude, who came on as a substitute, did it in a tenth of that time! And to top it off that last goal is the definition of a GOLAZO!!

RE: OT: Robert Lewandoski
For those who don't want to yawn through the boring parts between the goals ( :-) ) in this 10-minute-long video, he scored at about 0:23, 1:22, 3:40, 6:05 & 9:30. The third one included rapid-fire rebounds from the post and a goalie block.

Oddly, the video did not show the teams' game score. (Maybe it was a true "friendly" with no one keeping score?)

Wolfsburg was up 1-0 at the half. Then Lewandowski goes postal and Bayern win 5-1

Incredible by both Lewandowski and Bayern. Reminds me of the Germany - Brazil semi-final. Complete and total team dominance.

Been an interesting sports year. Japan beat South Africa in Rugby. That's like the miracle on ice

Lewandowski was clearly "in Brand geraten"! (Or in his native tongue, "W ogniu"!)

(ChefOwl or Antarius: Is there any "that's the way we do it in soccer" reason that the video would not show the team names and score/time elapsed in one of the corners of the broadcast screen?)

I have been in South Africa this week for work. Front pages of the papers have not been kind.

It might be a pre-TV edited stream that someone uploaded to Youtube. To my knowledge, there is no reason why the score, team initials/name and time would not be displayed.

The video above no longer works. This has each of the goals.

I know Wolfsburg's problem - they're sponsored by VW. Not a good week to have the VW brand.

Soccer thread bump. Arsenal is up 3-0 at the half against the arch enemies Man U. Scored in 5' 7' and 19'

All 3 goals are works of art. Links below
