Is anyone following this slowly building care package war that withers has started. One of the funniest interactions I've seen between coach and former players. Any how withers has been sending out care packages of Jmu gear to guys in nfl from Jmu and one or two that I know of not in NFl. Marvin Brown asked for one on Twitter and Withers publicly responded by stating its only for NFL guys. Now you guys might remember Marvin from the championship days, he had done well for himself after Jmu and his family are well thought of leaders,in his community... "757" that we happen to recruit heavily in. I highly doubt that this will have any effect on Withers or recruiting, but it's still funny how out of touch our athletic department can be with PR and communication. Marvin brown is also hilarious on tweeter and other players have gotten in on it, which makes for a funny read if you are bored at work.
