I'm still not entirely sure our fan base agrees with the decision. Knighten has sort of fallen out of favor with fans because of some off and on field reasons. Meanwhile, when your backup hits 90 percent of his passes in his first start, so people start to get antsy.

That being said, coaches are not going to just pull the starting job away from KNighten because he struggled against two of the best defenses in the country first two weeks. We all know and understand there isn't a single team left on our schedule with the Secondary of USC, or the D Line of Missouri.

The fan base (at least the vocal part) thinks Anderson is out of his gourd for allowing Knighten to be anything other than a gimmick wildcat QB.

I'm sure it's more of the fanbase pissed because of him professing his love for that horrid school/former teammates.

His social media indiscretions aside, Fredi had one of the most statistically prosperous seasons we've ever had. He should be full speed by Saturday from everything I've heard.

I don't know a thing about him aside from his athletic ability, but the thing I noticed in your contest with Missouri was that, when Knighten was in, you were in that game. When he went out, that was the end of it. In the GoDaddy your offense was explosive.

If he is not 100% Saturday I suppose it could be difficult for you, but if he is, we need to bring our A game. Again.

I'm glad he's playing. He was exciting to watch in January, and I was looking forward to getting to watch him again.

He's claiming he'll be about 95 percent saturday. Might have some small limitations. We'll see.
