Georgia State scored 28 points at Oregon while East Carolina was shellacked by Navy. I'm not sure why it is shocking.

Georgia State also lost at home to a third-year program. And Georgia State got shellacked by a lot more than ECU did. If the two teams were to play tomorrow, the Pirates would win by 4-5 TDs.

I saw something similar posted about the FIU @UCF game ... then about the Furman @ UCF game.

UTSA won't be there long. They are going to be a thorn in the side of the west and probably my Raiders too.

I just don't get UTEP. After going to a bowl last season I figured they'd take another step forward this year. I guess they can still contend for the West and be good in conference.

No offense Miner fans. I'm just wanting to see one of the old guard teams turn it around. Lord knows you all have quite the atmosphere in the Sun Bowl.

Maybe, but any criticism tossed on ECU at the moment is warranted. They looked horrible in 2 of 3 games and the actual best performance was in the Florida loss.

No, does not ring a bell. What does ring a bell is your angry disbelief that FAU, at 0-3, is being ranked by people above ODU. If I got a wrong Monarchs fan - my apologies.

We got thumped by Arkansas and Texas Tech. Sure, we could have looked better in those losses but I am waiting till after a couple of conference games before worrying. Not saying we are going to look great. I'm just surprised ed at the shade UTEP is getting considering who we have lost to.
