Big time get (Transfer)
His Instagram account says he is a running back for NIU. Don't see anything about playing QB here

RE: Big time get (Transfer)
Anytime someone transfers, don't expect this guy to be the 3* he was in high school.. Indiana isn't any good and he couldn't play there

Perhaps Indiana is deeper at RB than at other positions.

Thankfully we are very deep at RB for 2016...any maybe have a stud with a good supporting crew that will be around for 2017 and 2018.

This makes more sense...
http://clonesconfidential.com/2013/12/27...decommits/
He was an ISU commit until their RB coach was fired (along with the OC?) so he questioned that commitment and went with IU.

His injury was in the preseason of his true FR year.

So he can't play this year (right?) but has 3 years remaining. We will see on what position in the spring.

That is who I thought it was. He was a beast in HS.

Saw him vs MC.

Tore a ligament, fell back on the depth chart. I am guessing they had more talent in front of him, yes, even though they are "Indiana."

Another guy recruited as an "athlete." Just as Lynch and McNabb were. Probably knows he'll get a better chance to showcase at NIU, even if part time. Think that Golladay did have something to do with it. Sometimes you just need a change of scenery, especially if you get injured. Better here than anywhere else he is likely thinking to get a shot, start over. Guess our coaches think the same.

I heard he was the #3 RB on the Indiana depth chart. I believe the running back that transferred to Indiana from UAB (their former #1 RB) may have bumped him down the depth chart.

The Toledo WR looked like the best QB on the field against us last year. I don't know how he didn't get a shot at QB. Dude was amazing. If this Ind. transfer is like that kid put him at QB. Let's get the personnel right... Unlike Toledo.

He also was playing against a defense who had never prepared for him. Let NIU prep for him and he probably does nothing.

Our defense never practice against dual threat QBs?

RE: Big time get (Transfer)
I saw Tommy Mister playing on the scout team {probably playing the OSU quarterbacks) and thought great; getting to know the players and system! I remembered this thread on him when it was announced he would transfer to NIU. I see he played (at least his senior year) at St. Rita where Galladay played. Maybe this will start a trend with more future Chicago kids coming directly to NIU rather than another school first and then transferring to NIU! Two 2016 recruits come to mind: Ben Leroy the OT/DT from Wilmette and Anthony Thompson the QB from Mount Carmel! It looks like Tommy Mister was listed as a RB at Indiana. It is interesting that he was on the USA team; remember who was on the team (an earlier one) – JL! Tommy Mister’s rushing and passing stats from MaxPreps for his senior year at St. Rita are below. 1,434 yds. passing and 1,610 rushing; quite good and a true dual threat QB, albeit run heavy! Like others I wonder if he will play QB at NIU? I have a sense that is what he wanted and was promised a shot at QB at NIU. Also sounds like JL! And no I am not saying Tommy Mister is the next Jordan Lynch; we can all hope but he has miles to go before any such comparison could even be talked about! And I am not saying there will be any QB controversy next year; Hare is the QB this year and next! Tommy Mister sure looks like a great athlete! I would not be shocked to see him backing-up Hare next year and see him spell Hare at times ala JL spelling Chandler Harnish in his senior year! It will be interesting to see how he and this develops.
