BC's head coach Addazio's presser.
http://www.bceagles.com/sports/m-footbl/...15aaf.html
Gives you a good idea of what to expect Saturday. Their offense wasn't top notch to being with and loses qb for the season. Its about risk management for him too. Its about his defense. Maximizing field position on special teams. Yards after contact when running the ball.

That translates to minimal passing plays from them. What should we do? Stack the box! He also talked to Urban to get the low down on us.

What a great compliment! Oh wait if this is the Big 10, that means we are Illinois 03-puke

"Our objective is to make strides. Here we go on to week four. We are playing Northern Illinois, which is an outstanding football team. This is not coach talk or any of this other nonsense. We are playing an elite MAC team, which is really like to me a Power 5 - middle rung - Power 5 team. That's what we are playing.

Yeah, I listened to the radio show BC had and they seemed to be pretty stuck over the FSU loss. Not saying they're overlooking NIU but they really didn't seem to act like this was a game. Toward the end the announcers and coach were complimentary of Hare, but the middling Power 5 comment was pretty backhanded.

I did see in the BC media press conference he said he's talked to Urban already to get info. He was a big member of that staff in Florida so I'm sure he's keyed in on what tips Urban passed along.

you would think OSU would want us to win out. What are they talking to Addagio about.

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice quote:

“That young offense just got younger with a trigger man with no game experience, no matter which way we go with that. And now we are playing a bona fide MAC team that plays like a power five team.”

Just wanted to say good luck against BC! Tough loss last sat. Only time in my life I wore an NIU t shirt. It got exchanged for a Rocket jersey before going into the Glass Bowl, but it created some interesting conversations while tailgating.

Not the biggest offensive line. Our D-Line should be able to get some pressure.

I assume we'll blitz often against an inexperienced QB in passing situations. BC will counter with lots of screen plays. Will be interesting seeing what both teams do to try and put points on the board. Seems weird to be talking like NIU has an amazing defense all of a sudden.

And it's 60 degrees and dry. Hope the glass bowl is packed and the weather doesn't determine the outcome (unless it helps NIU).

04-cheers I root for Toledo in OOC games, especially against P5, but I don't think I would wear a Toledo shirt during tailgating for an NIU game. You must have heard a lot of negative criticism.

Only from those that were "fans" of both. Most Rocket fans thought it was awesome and only lead to conversations about our mutual dislike for Ohio State. the hatred of O$U runs much deeper than the hatred of NIU. Kind of like the "I can fight with my brother, but God help the outsider that tries it" mentality. If you truly care about your own school, support of your conference only makes sense.(BGSU excepted of course. They are the equivalent of the crazy uncle no one claims!)
