honestly, App players after the Clemson game were pissed, they believed they played a more competitive game against Clemson than the final score indicated, and a lot of the players talked about wanting to play ODU the next week to get the bad taste out of their mouths. I suspect the ODU players feel the same way after the State game, they just want to get back on the field and try and take out their frustrations out on App. I suspect both teams will be really pumped up for this game, maybe too much, which could lead to early mistakes. Saint is right about App starting slow which could be a big problem, its alittle frustrating, because it seems to be done almost by design, we like to throw very short, safe passes, and play very conservative with the running backs. I would love to see us go after your defense aggressively in the first few possessions

Have to admit, I am loving the fact that Appy fans are here to discuss this game. So tired of little interaction with non-caring fanbases when their teams come to town. Reminds me of Georgia Southern fans, with which we had a lot of fun. I am sure they have their trolls, as do we, but happy to see some genuine interest in this game. I'll pass our tailgate spot info to the Appy fans later this week, to welcome them to Norfolk properly.

Right now this game isn't televised in the Charlotte market to my knowledge, if anyone knows otherwise, please post.

You guys mentioned poor special teams play last year, but I thought your punter looked good in the third quarter last week(only portion I saw).

I thought you had good WRs and run good routes and got separation, just too many drops. Was that only this game or is this par? I was also impressed with the size of your lines, they may not be as fast as our lines, but you will be bigger.

Looking forward to a hard nosed blue collar game (just like we like ) . I think that App needs to stick with what they are good at - Run Cox and Upshaw to set up the pass. Our defense looks good so far this season and our special teams had no where to go but up from last season. This will likely be a 4th quarter battle.
By the way, I think that American Sports Network is carrying the game , not ESPN3.

A little help, please... Is the "Yellow" garage a decent place to park? I'm guessing it's on campus? Thanks in advance--- really looking forward to visiting your campus and a great game to go along with that. Are your local weather folks still saying rain/showers?

You need a pass to park in the yellow garage. Don't bother buying a pass to park in the garage, it's free to park in the garages adjacent to the Ted Constant Convocation Center. And you can't tailgate in the garages anyway.

Dont be scammed into buying a garage pass. The only garage pass worth buying is the red garage pass next to the stadium. The garages on Hampton Boulevard are free to park.

The game is scheduled to be on here in Greensboro. I have time warner cable and it is channel 15 here WMYV. I know we got the ODU vs NC STATE game last week and Charlotte didn't get it so it may be the same this week.

You are most welcome. It isn't the same as watching the game but better than nothing. Plus, the announcers are pretty entertaining and are usually somewhat un-biased (much to the chagrin of some Monarch fans )
