There are only nine people left at any given time that still give this site any time of day. Only a few more that check it from time to time to see if it is still a big pile of chit and seek a bit of amusement.

Charlie Moore will be a really good college point guard...I figured he was Cal or Iowa bound. Hope Josh can pull it off.

If we end up with fewer 5 stars then perhaps the players are more coach-able. By that I mean the players may better fit the coaches style and personality. Five star talent is great as long as it meshes as a team; otherwise, I might be inclined to have 4 stars that play together and are recruited to complement one another.

Our five star talent the last several years ended up being NCAA tourney locks, and won an awful lot of games, even if they ultimately fell a game short in back to back years of the Sweet sixteen. It was not until the five start leading the team was Austin Nichols that they tanked.

So it indeed does seem to make a difference...character that is.

Makes as much sense as a lot of the stats here

I think you guys are finally on to something.

Once Pastner gets HIS players in here, 2 star players with a positive dog mentality and thirst for competitive excellence, we will be where we want to be. All those Memphis 5 and 4 star players brought us down with a Me First mentality and a lack of respect and work ethic.
