Wish I could have seen it. For some reason, ASN showed the ODU game but not the UTEP game.

ASN needs to get it together. Its a shell game with the regional channels at this point.

Utep looked like a highschool team without its running back. I watched the end of the game and the freshman QB is the only hope for another win this year. Glad you came back and won because nms is the worst team in fbs.

I'm really hoping that the coaching staff doesn't put us in a Major Applewhite-Chris Simms situation. It's been pretty obvious that either the coaching staff didn't have the confidence in Leftwich or Leftwich didn't have the confidence in himself to get the ball downfield. Metz looks like he does. If he can, it helps our running game immensely if opposing defenses can't stack the box on us. Most of our fans believe that Metz give us our best chance to win. I hope the staff realizes that as well.

Why would an EP/LC station air that game? You could have watched it on ESPN3.

That's not the way it works. Fitbud is not to make an effort to watch a game. The universe must revolve around Fitbud and deliver the game to him. ESPN3? Fitbud? Surely you jest!

So, anyway, it was a damned exciting game, and I'm happy you pulled it out.

The game was on 3 channels of the Directv sports package. ASN did not have the rights since it was at NMSU.

Another thread on this Forum said that the game would be aired by "Aggievision". I simply assumed that would be a local tv states such as 7-2.

I dont' have ESPN 3.

He is right. You need your satellite and/or cable log-in credentials to legally use ESPN3. Most UTEP fans would not be shocked if Fitbud was strictly an OTA TV viewer.
