Squirmed past an FCS team last week and got blown out by LSU this week... Yes, them being ranked still should let everyone know how "rankings" work, especially in the 18-25 range...

I seriously doubt if beating Cincinnati will get us ranked. Best thing about that game will be the visibility. Keep winning and beat Ole Miss will do it.

When a team is minus 5 in tos and the other team gets a couple of lucky plays and still only wins by 7 I know who I would bet on to win the next game outright

They had plenty of weaknesses yesterday. Bama just gave away the game. Almost 1/3 of their total yards came off two weird plays. One which bounced off defenders helmet and the other with the lineman 5 yards downfield and officials were so concerned with if the QB went across the line they did not pay attention to the lineman. OM just got every break there was to get in that game. Without them Bama would have held them to right at 300 yards total offense while putting up over 500 of their own. And neither one of the Bama QB could stand on the end of the pier and piss into the ocean. It still took 5 turnovers on Bama's part for OM to win.

Cannot believe there are 11 people in this world who actually voted OM number 1 in their polls.

OM lead at half 17-10 with only 101 yards total offense in half With Bama having 254 total yards in half.

Mississippi was very, very fortunate for sure however; Bammer has had more than its share of wins where the opponent pretty much handed it to them in an otherwise even game.

I don't think Mississippi is even a top 10 team but these things tend to work themselves out over the course of the season.
