Hopefully they are Liberty fans and not Montana fans. I'm sure Montana has a good group of traveling fans.

I'll bet they are most all LU fans. I would not want to travel that distance, spend the travel funds, in the risk of not getting a seat.

I usually don't sit at the games. As I'm solo today, I'll walk along where the teams are. It's requires more energy and movement but you're closer to the action.

It was a great crowd, very lively. The Baptist side needs to learn to cheer some more and get wild. The student side was fantastic. There were a LOT of people there. In all honesty, of all the places I have seen college football, Liberty is the most fun and crowd pleasing.

It's unofficial but I would guess there were 600 to 800 Griz fans, possibly more. The big crowd of LU fans mostly downed out the Griz cheers.

ArmyMike, saw where you posted that you and your family were planning to attend the Montana game. I hope you made it from KY as it was a great game to attend. The first half I viewed the game from the home/reserved sections. Fans on the non-student section are always more reserved than the student side. Years ago I attended UVA games with my family. The section we were in was alike to what Liberty's game last night with fan energy. There was excitement and energy, but nothing to match the students.

The second half I moved to the student section. Lots of energy and excitement. Every time the scoreboard had the "L" and "U" lead cheers, the student section was much louder. That's just the way it is. The students will always be more vocal. There was good energy and excitement on the reserved section. The students were just much, much more energetic.

Yep, we were there. We were on the Baptist side, upper deck, goal line near Flames locker room. It was a fun time. Great crowd. We've gotta get that side of the stadium a little rowdier. We had to teach the people around us the first down cheer. It was a great night and a great win.

We toured the campus with my daughter today. LU is at the top of her preference list, with Wheaton College, to attend for college. We've visited 8 schools in all. The funny thing, our student tour guide said we set an attendance record with over 40,000 fans at the game Saturday. Maybe she's prophesying.
