If you want memphis to have an outside shot at the bcs playoff, a 12-1 sec champion ole miss is the only path. It's not likely, but it is not out of the realm. You get memphis undefeated with 3 top 25 wins including over ole miss and they will be difficult to exclude

We're playing Ole Miss, and not playing Bama. Emotions aside, it's better for us to have OM win. OM up 30-17, late 3rd quarter.

If we are 13-0 at the end of the season with wins over BGSU, Ole Miss, Navy, Temple, Houston, and Cincy. Then say we beat Temple or Cincy a 2nd time for the AAC Championship. I would hope like hell we would at least be considered and worst case ranked in the top 7.

That's tough.

While I would love and go crazy if we did beat Ole Piss the realist in me says I just don't see how unless they turned the ball over like crazy.. They are a lot better than I thought they would be.. They are on a totally different level than BG!!

Agree. We're pretty good, but not that good. Johnson is better than Kelly, but OM's entire team is damn good, way better than BG.

I just don't think Bama can win though because of their QB.. He has been lucky a few times to not be intercepted.. But who knows..
