Apparently offended by multiple expressions of solidarity with the state of Israel, she delicately tweeted “How many f---ing Jews do these people think there are in the United States?”

Even though I believe that you were just being a troll when you wrote your post, it is a very interesting question.

It should be pretty clear, that conservatives on average (whatever "on average" means) support Israel. There are various reasons for this support ranging from the specious "end of times" argument of fundamentalist Christians, to the "our only ally in the middle east" ideal.

Further, I don't believe that many conservatives buy into the Jewish banking cabal controls the world (the Stuart Mackenzie theory) nor the blood libel bull.

I, as an Irish Catholic conservative, greatly admire what Jews have accomplished in many aspects of life, including science, medicine, art and business. I also admire their ability to fend off both the explicit and existential threats of 1.2 billion goat f***ers.

It seems to me that today, the primary anti-semites occupy the left wing and are personified by the likes of Louis Farrakaham, Al Sharpton, Joe Biden and Jesse Jackson.

It does annoy the hell out of me that Jews tend to vote Democrat but I haven't lost hope that one day they'll be lead out of the metaphorical Egypt to the Republican promised land.

So to answer your question, I'd suggest that the anti-semites need to be about 3 standard deviations from the norm.

The most anti-Semitic thing done in recent memory is the Iran nuclear treaty. That is offensive to all Semites, both Israelis and Arabs. And that was most definitely not the doing of the "far right."

With regard to the OP, Coulter is a *itch and shouldn't be allowed as much influence as she has.

This wouldn't have mattered had she not said *******. If she had just said "how many jews do the republicans think there are" then not a word would have been mentioned of this tweet.

That would not have made the comment less stupid. The Republicans are not falling over themselves to appeal to a small segment of the vote that they will likely not win anyways. They are doing it to pander to the religious right.

All of that said, I can't imagine that overt racists in this country could be any happier with the way that this election cycle is shaping up.
