Freshman Enrollment down 9.9%

Anyone know what caused the overall enrollment to only go down 1.9%?

(what offset the drop in freshman enrollment?)

Transfers back to Birmingham by local kids that went down to Auburn and Tuscaloosa and drank too much?

The fact that incoming freshman are only a small portion of all enrollment. If freshmen enrollment drops 10%, and all other enrollment stays the same, overall enrollment only drops 2%.
It doesn't necessarily mean other enrollment went up to offset

There was an increase in some of the graduate and professional programs.

Anyone think UAB accepted more students into the medical and dental programs in an attempt to offset the drop in undergrad enrollment?
