I didn't realize it until yesterday but Ryan Mallet started out as a QB at Michigan but transferred to Arkansas in early 2008 after Michigan hired Rich Rod because Mallet was a drop back NFL type QB and Rich Rod was take Michigan to the spread.

If he had stuck around Ann Arbor one more year he could have experienced the UT upset of Michigan up close and personal.
