I've got the MAC tacking on two wins over the B10 this week, with BG over Purdue and OU over Minny.

Any thoughts?

BG is going to smoke Purdue. This is a very bad Purdue team and BG will score some points. Can Purdue's offense keep up in a track meet? I don't think so.

I think Minnesota is going to win but I wouldn't be shocked to see a Bobcat upset. Minnesota's offense is not clicking at the moment.

They would be 2-4. http://mcubed.net/ncaaf/tvc/oh/big10.shtml

That win was a huge reason NIU went to the Orange Bowl.

Rutgers still had to lose again after KSU beat them for NIU to leapfrog them in the standings.

It helped, but it wasn't what I would call a huge reason why.

Actually, we're both wrong. I forgot they played 2 B1G teams in 2008, so Ohio is currently 2-4, a win would move them up to 3-4.

W 2012 v Penn State
L 2010 v Ohio State
L 2008 v Ohio State
L 2008 v Northwestern
W 2006 v Illinois

I meant they are 2-4, so yes they would be 3-4 with a win. As always go MAC.

RE: MAC vs. Big Ten
Miami has 14 wins and 2 ties vs current Big Ten members. This includes a win over Maryland over 40 years ago and a forfeit by Michigan State in a game they won on the field. Our last win over the Big Ten, however, was with Big Ben at QB in 2003. We did twice lose in OT (Minnesota and Purdue) since then, missing a gamewininning field goal both times.

and to further complicate it, technically the game vs Ohio State never happened because it was vacated.

Haha there you go. We can say 2-3 final offer.
