I don't think FRWMD is a bad Doctor. I'm sure he's a very good neurologist. The argument is that his academic, administration-heavy job would leave him ill prepared for the rigors of independent, private practice at this stage in his career.

I don't know if he is a good doctor or not. Everyone at UAB said he was at one time. I just know I could find three monkeys slinging poo that would be better administrators.

I can definitely agree with you on that, AB.

As administrators go, he makes a fine doctor.

I'm pretty sure that calling for a second opinion after performing an amputation is considered poor doctoring.

Who has Dr Ray Watts had to please to keep his job?
Who has not even thought of voting "NO CONFIDENCE" in Dr Ray Watts?
Who alone can fire Dr Ray Watts as UAB President?
Who will hire his replacement whenever he leaves?

Good questions, every one of them.

Watts is scheduled to speak at the Downtown Rotary Club luncheon on October 21st so we're at least stuck with him the rest of this month it seems.
