We've had three starting OL out during our first two games and at least two of them are coming back, so take that for what it's worth. Our offense is still bad but improved from last year with the exception of QB, which has rotated between a below-average senior and a true frosh with some raw talent. Pass D is anemic with Quinten Rollins in the NFL now, run D is solid (held up well against Wisky until they got exhausted by our constant three-and-outs). Special teams is abysmal.
Attendance: >21K announced
We've started to inflate the numbers by 6K or so the past few years. We got over 21 in 2013 during our winless season, we'll reach that if there's decent weather (50% chance of scattered t-storms Saturday).
The last two years I've kept on hearing about how UC under Tubs is going to annihilate us and it hasn't happened yet. It could very well be a bloodbath this Saturday, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Well, you know the "pressure is off" this team now, so I wouldn't expect to see UC come out with a bunch of urgency.
Apparently our QB is also pretty much worthless, according to our fanbase at least, so Miami's got that in their favor as well. So your anemic pass-D shouldn't be overtaxed.
And frankly I think UC has completely abandoned the concept of playing "special teams" at all.
So yeah...I don't see a "blood bath."
(Not to mention what SHOULD worry UC fans...the likelihood that the team and the staff may be looking past this game for MEMPHIS and the big MIAMI... I smell a "trap"...)

Why the F are there so many UC fans on this board who went to Miami? I grew up somewhat of a UC fan since my mom went there, but it's not like I root for you now.

Because none of us gave a dang about Miami athletics when we were there. Same thing as goes on now...students show up to Oxford already pot committed fans of Ohio State, Notre Dame, or whatever their hometown team growing up was.
Football games at Oxford was what we did while waiting for Top Deck, CJs and Mac & Joes to open so we could watch the other games.
Hell, we have mods here who played ball at Miami.

My first degree is from UC, the second from Miami, the third from UC. I'm not saying this to be controversial, but I didn't appreciate UC until I spent time in Oxford. Plus UC is a totally different school than it was the first time I went there back in the 80's.
I received a great education at Miami, but I was never able to really latch on to the school.

Attendance- 18,000 announced about 12,000 in reality. Half of the people there will be rooting for UC.
FWIW, at the Bearcat Faithful Luncheon, Coach Tubs was asked why we continue to travel to Oxford. He commented we were speaking to the choir and we needed to let Mike Bohn and Dr. Ono know. He quipped after Saturday's performance he is staying clear of the boss' office for awhile. Got a big laugh out of the room.
Ha. Someone needs to tell the ol' ball coach he coaches a mid major program. One which isn't in the position to dictate terms to another mid-major....

If UC is mid major, Miami is FCS.
Couple more years of the victory bell residing in Clifton Heights and Miami will be in full blown Stockholm Syndrome. No terms will need to be dictated.

Did you come here to make friends? Good job so far. Miami is garbage, the series isnt even competitive anymore. UC does not need this game.
