Quote:I thought so too, I wonder if it is some really short-lived MAC member that we are forgetting.
First year in 1904, they kicked it off playing a MAC team that season and beat Miami-OH 80-0 (they didn't have Ben RTB back then).
Here's their losses to mid-majors/no-namers (Not counting Chicago; they were part of the B10 before Mich State):
10/08/1921 - Oberlin (non-IA) L (6-7)
11/05/1927 - Princeton L (0-20)
10/28/1939 - Cornell L (14-23)
10/26/1940 - Cornell L (7-21)
10/09/1943 - Great Lakes Navy L (6-13)
*Sure sounds like a MAC version of the Navy to me!
09/30/1950 - SMU L (27-32)
10/15/1955 - Duke L (14-20)
*Okay, not a mid-major, but it's DUKE! In football! Fans not pleased, I'm sure
09/28/1957 - TCU L (14-18)
*Maybe not a total mid-major at the time; figured I'd add it in just in case
12/27/1990 - Air Force L (11-23)
[*Liberty Bowl; AF was 7-5]
09/12/1992 - BGSU
W (17-6)
*NOT a win; 1st Visible Modern-Day MAC game; BGSU was 10-2 that year
From there, no, OSU didn't lost to any MAC teams. Many close ones (Toledo, BGSU again in the year of the MAC of '03, Cinci)
Unless one of those no-namers was part of the MAC in those years, they didn't lose to a MAC team.

*No, they never beat Cinci. Cinci games were of: 1931, 1999, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2014 -- won them all
