#2 we were close to finish first last because we lost to not so great team away from. Home .
Because we were young. Nit bid will represent a disappointment

I think we don't go 0-Florida with a healthy Mehenti.

It will be interesting to see what Smallwood can actually do. It's pretty well known by now that he has great range as a shooter. It would be fun to see Haase throw him out at the 2-spot for the exhibition... imagine this line-up:
Mehinti
Lee
Smallwood
Brown
Norton
All it takes is Smallwood knocking down a couple 3s in a game and the opposing defense is done for. Absolutely no hope to play man and opponents would have to stretch their bigs out soo far in zone... oh it'd be glorious.

An NIT bid is not an unreasonable prediction for people that don't know too much about us and given our weak schedule. However, I think that we are definitely an NCAA team, and anything less than that would be a disappointment in my eyes, especially after how well we did this past March.

I think we're an NCAA quality team, but if CUSA is a one-bid league again, it'll be a tough road getting there. To earn a bid, we absolutely have to beat the few high majors we play, since all outside one or two will probably be bubble teams or worse. The Stephen F. Austin game will be an important benchmark game as well.

Did anybody see Smallwood play during the summer pick-up games?

If CUSA is a one-bid league it's because only one team is usually worthy of a bid. I understand UAB doesn't have the luxury of relying on strength of conference to boost their RPI but UAB OOC schedule is strong enough to get a bid if they take care of business and limit the WTF losses.
