Would have been great to beat the OSU, even with their worst team they've had in my lifetime, but all those illegal formation penalties was a Beckman problem which was not exclusive to that game. They shot themselves in the foot far more times than the officials did.

FOR EVERYONE'S KNOWLEDGE, THE REFS AT THE UT vs tosu GAME IN 2011 WERE ALL REPRIMANDED FOR THE BLATENT CHEAT JOB BY THE NCAA! We were at the game and I was never so disgusted with a sporting event in my life. I will never consider that a win for tosu. The officials were directed to under no circumstances allow UT to win that game. I will never forgive those refs for that game. It broke my kids hearts that day, and I lost respect for the officials. To hell with them all. Karma will be coming their way in some shape or form. GO ROCKETS!!! Screw tosu!

My memory of the game at Ohio State was that Toledo did win the game but it was taken away by homer B1G officials

a bit of a stretch to say the officials were directed to not let UT win. Too much Oliver Stone in that comment.

Ghost calls on holds for Toledo during some returns and letting osu get away with a lot is why the officials were reprimanded. The punt formation stuff was all on us. Penalties shouldnt have been 15-2 or whatever it was!!! Toledo was possibly the more undisciplined team... But not that much more than ohio state. It happened twice that season. What a shame.
