I think the MAC writers were wrong with 3,4 MAC West teams ranked higher than the East.

BIG win for Ohio, they beat a good team.

CMU continues to NOT embarrass itself, they might have something there.

RE: Congratulations Ohio.
Ohio lost their starting QB in Q1 with an elbow injury and lost their back-up QB in Q4 with a late hit out of bounds. Looks like 3rd string QB will start this Saturday and possibly at Minnesota in 2 weeks.

With Ohio playing most of the game without their starting QB/Offensive Capt and all of the game without their leading tackler and Defensive Capt the Bobcats were lucky to get the W.

Marshall has a good team, they'll win a lot of games this year. This was just one of those games where it was tough for either team to execute like they wanted to.

Best of luck to Herd fans, see you in 2019.

Yup congrats, nice to see you guys do well. So easy to identifiy with you guys in Institution size, bb, fb etc.

Thanks for scheduling us in 2017. Its the first year our FB schedule looks good compared to play so many P5 teams, while growing into FBS.

This year well be alright after the Bowling Green game. It's just the first 4 out of 5 games are brutal.

Make sure you've got the screen covered and you've deflated Marshall's passing game more than a New England football

This pretty much sums it up. Ohio challenged Marshall to make Birdsong beat them and he couldn't deliver. It didn't help that Marshall was horrendous on 1st down. On five of their first six drives the Herd were facing 2nd and 11+. But even with that Birdsong missed a lot of possible plays. Seemed like he delivered the ball late all night long.
