I lost faith in USM fans in 2005, when we couldn't sell out the last home game of the regular season against the #3 team in the nation that had Aaron Rodgers at QB.

I was at that game. It was on a weeknight, IIRC. I thought that was a pretty decent crowd all things considered. That was not that great a USM team by the standards of the day. (Wasn't it 2004 though?)

I think that game got rescheduled to later in the year due to a tropical storm or something in September. I was in school then, but couldn't make it that game, which I hate I missed.

Some of my fondest USM memories are from that year... watching us beat Nebraska on TV, the home game against UH. I can't remember, but it may have been 2004 when Corso / Herbstreit came to MM Roberts. My God how we've fallen.

I think what our tropical fruit-inspired poster is trying to say is that the Alumni Association treats people poorly, which causes people to disassociate themselves from the university, which in turn contributes to football attendance problems.

I'd ask him to elaborate, but don't want to be blamed for him continuing to post.

Hey Goldstandard, something was telling me that one or more if these clowns in here was associated with Eaglepost, so I tried to get on the site to see what was going in there. Guess what, I am banned over there...lol. Somebody went and told mommy that mean ole boys over here were talking about them. Priceless

I find it hard to believe that anyone could've actually gotten banned from EP. That it was self-policing was its best quality before it went to crap. BGN, however, will ban you merely for saying something other than gold is your favorite color.

Yeah, I'd say for a guy who's a Carmody, a Bammer, and an EaglePost member, he's actually less of a prick than you'd expect.
