WHY NOT PLAY FLACO ??
WOULDN'T IT BE WISE TO GIVE FLACCO SOME PLAYING TIME ? playing your starter in a ass whooping like this in the 4th quarter shows total bone headed approach. The kid is gonna need some experience some time. WHY RISK A TERRELL INJURY. PITIFUL.

04-cheers Sorry for the spelling errors. But it is still the same thing. I wish that was the only thing I had to worry about. Bring on the basketball season and the baseball playoffs. I will make an attempt to get the names spelled correctly in the future, but don't hold your breath on it;.

Watch some Flaccid senior tape and then you'll know why he didn't go to him.

Buttons, I knew what you meant. The "kids" are learning about life and they don't like what they see. Pissing and moaning. Living vicariously through those a handful of years younger. Blaming others for their misery. Sad but true.

Hopefully they'll learn before they model for their offspring. We can only hope.

Just my opinion but maybe the 'hype machine' needs a slight adjustment. Perhaps turn it down a few notches for awhile.

PJ owned this in his comments. Good for him.

RE: WHY NOT PLAY FLACO ??
I agree play Flacco, most of the problem with our rushing game is Terrell can't fake the dive to Franklin and keep it! (Terrill may not be allowed to keep the ball?)

We can't get another season when we redshirt all our QBs, we need to have a back up ready.

At least give the offense a chance, all the defense needs to stop our rushing game is key #31. This offense is meant to have a Qb that can run the "read option" and run it if "key defender" is crashing down on the fullback.

Remember the "jet sweep" that NIU ran, the most potent part of that play was Jordan Lynch keeping it up the middle.

04-cheers Thanks for the football based reply. He looked very good in the spring game. What possible harm could come from giving him some reps ?

I agree, ZT was taking it on the chin and the game was toast. Give Flakko some reps.

Is it possible he's trying to redshirt both Flacco and Wassink? Can't think of any other reason? Gotta give him some reps at some point. No way Terrell should (or will be able to) play every play this season. Seems like a solid question to come from our beat writer.

Completely agree. Terrell is always one play away from leaving the game. See what we have when he goes down.
2 season tickets for remaining 5 home games. Tickets are on 50!
Email me with an offer. Can't take any more of Flecks b.s.!

No, he would've gotten smashed and turned the ball over. Unfortunately, like Bellamy did. Our team was not at all ready to play.

There wasn't a QB on our roster that could run behind what our OL was creating.... our RB's couldn't even run behind it. I agree... we were not ready to play that game... So there's why we didn't run that QB option up the gut... Terrell was getting blasted enough on his own trying to just stay alive to make throws... Flacco wasn't the answer... period. No sense in throwing a true frosh in there to get throttled and lose any of the confidence he might already have...

There is an old technique that obviously Fleck is too young to remember. Instead of dropping back 3 steps and getting bl
asted, QB. rolls out of the pocket.

I tend to agree. Get Flacco in there. Not because he could have done better but protect Terell and give Flacco some game experience.

The game was well out of hand.

Watch Flaccos HS tape. His throwing motion is aweful, he never sets his feet, he gets happy feet the second he gets the snap.

On the plus side his last name is Flacco and the OC loves his brother.

I think we had two QBs who could have been developed. They're gone. Matt Little is very good. He better keep him.
