We can no longer can be indignant about being referred to as a "directional school".

I'll barely pay attention to Bronco football the next 3 weeks. It's already written.

Our warm fuzzy win over an FCS patsy (maybe?), a 60-point blowout in Columbus, then a bye week. 1-3 heading into MAC play.

GSU was our ONLY non conference game that was perceived as a toss up. And we got pounded.

I know it's just one game. But it feels our season's balloon just went Pop.

Forget NIU and Toledo being the "only" toughies on our MAC slate.

I don't see us being bowl eligible this year... if that says anything. I don't think we win more than 5 maybe six games.

Bowling Green will kill us if the team that played today shows up against them. At this point I'm thinking 6-6 will take a miracle.

How so? Has NORTH Carolina never been thrashed on the football field? SOUTHERN Cal? WEST Virginia? SOUTH Carolina?

The directional school nonsense isn't important. It's thrown around by BCS type blowhards who went to Ohio State or some other football factory to make them feel superior.

We've got bigger problems to worry about now than silly putdowns.

I believe MHB's point was deal with the substance and not the style. Don't major on the minors. The directional "stuff" is all misdirection and deflecting.
