Crowd does not look good today, unfortunately. Entire sections look empty

conversely, the retarded side line dude did not show off well.

Yeah, it looks like he's only showing the East side and that East upper deck just does not fill up for games like this.

Old school cheer. My cousin, in 197?, followed him literally EVERYWHERE on the court, and held him to 7 pts. in a WKU win.

I'll take the win but listen to Coach Monken's post game interview. He was some kind of ticked off at the attendance. This game was on a pretty weather day, not too hot, and it felt like there were only 15,000 people there (though it was 23,000 officially). I'm not too sure what's happening with our fanbase

Less than 5 wins in 3 seasons will do that.. he knows that. hopefully it gets better coming up.

Sucking for three entire years and an awful home schedule (minus MSU) will do that for you.

Just wondering have any of the APSU FANS been cheering "The Fly Pattern's Open! Let's GO PEAY"?

Mark this day as the beginning of the end for Monken with his outburst. Not a smart decision by him.

Jesus, Monken. Win and they will come. Just like every other program in the damn world. Beating a team that most of us have never heard of is not going to put 30k in the stands. It's a great start from a zero base line and I am once again not ashamed to be a USM alumnus but how about we make the storyline about the kids winning a game handily and not about something negative like poor fan attendance. You've now successfully pitted USM fans against themselves on this issue. Dumb dumb dumb.

RE: **** Austin Peay @ Southern Miss *****
Attendance likely wasn't helped by the fact that MSU has LSU at home today and Ole Miss was at home as well. That likely drew a lot of the casual fans to Starkville/Oxford or kept them at home to watch the games on TV.

most USM fans like a night game. I have noticed more come anyway. Also there were a lot of fans staying at their tailgate spots which is ridiculous. My family and I[/align] went to the game. Awesome weather!

He needs to be more concerned about next week's opponent. We will probably be a 3 or 4 point dog.

The New Orleans Bowl no longer has a C-USA tie in. It's a Sun Belt/MWC game.
