Wow, with all the criticism directed at how bad the MOB is I sure am impressed with those willing to step up and take their own crack at it. :sarcasm:

228 of Rice's 969 freshmen (23.5%) were in high school band or orchestra. With such a large number having this background, one would think that the MOB should be larger.

228 of Rice's 228 freshmen (100.0%) who were in high school band or orchestra had a band hall that is better than Autry East Gym.

Imagine if the track team had to do all their practices on the Rice outer loop. That's how inadequate our "band hall" is. It's no wonder that MOB attendance has cratered since the move.

The track team isn't really a group I would compare accommodations with. They don't even have locker rooms or any semblance of proper facilities there, that place is embarrassing. About all they have is a track. Try tennis......
