I was at the game... Blake was magnificent vs. Mitchell. He spent the majority night pressing up on Mitchell, but also played a little safety and shaded to Mitchell's side.

Mitchell had two TD's.. the first was a jet sweep away from Blake early in the game. The other was a 40 something yard TD that. from my angle, it appeared Blake and his teammates gave up on because they thought Mitchell was out of bounds....even seemed to be confusion amongst the referees on that..although it was a nice catch.

Black had a highlight reel interception (John Varlas from the CA I believe retweeted it) where he went up over Mitchell and took it away and then a big pass break up on WSHS' 4th down pass that effectively ended the game.

Memphis fans should be amped up about this kid....the only question that should arise, it with his performances against fellow Tiger commit Thomas Pickens last week (I don't think he gave up a catch to him on his side) and this week vs. Mitchell, will his stock with some major conference schools rise?

Couple more outings like that and I imagine local SEC teams will begin to look into him

RE: Sanchez Blake
I asked around...Heard some are definitely aware of him but he did not camp much this summer...went to Memphis and maybe 1 exposure camp....

Interesting prospect... If her were 2 inches taller, I could see an SEC team redshirting him, packing on 20lbs and making him a OLB. I could see him playing OLB, Safety, or Corner in college. Just depends on the team and scheme.

Based on the handful of times I have seen him between last year and this year, I would say yes...very physical..

The safety from MUS and Blake make a nice combo from the area committed to UM

I decided to look up his highlights...3rd play made me laugh...

Was told that he had surgery on his shoulder earlier this month. Had his signing today, however, he is not expected to enroll for summer/fall with the limited number of slots and the late additions like the DB who was once a Bama commit.

Supposed finish his rehab, gray shirt in the fall, and be an EE in December.

Will allow him to delay the start of his "clock" and allows Memphis more flexibility with the small signing class.

good info
