OK....is everyone and everything elite? If so..I think we are kinda dumbing down the definition of elite.

Well, you're not very Elite, are you? :) Plus, you have to say Elite with a certain twang for it to have some real meaning!

Well leading the nation in yards per carry qualifies for elite, one would think. This Breida was averaging almost 9 yards per carry last year, 1485 total.
Todd is figuring if they can average 6 per carry, we'll be in deep dodo.

Western Michigan sophomore running back Jarvion Franklin, the reigning Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Year, is probably after leaving in the third quarter of the loss to Michigan State with a head injury.
Is probably what????

In the past two seasons, they won at Florida while still in FCS and won the Sun Belt in their first year in FBS. In this particular case, use of the term elite should be considered acceptable.

Speaking of twang, in Battle-Creek talk that means "probable". They don't take kindly to them there grammatical criticisms...

I agree. They BLEW OUT Florida in the Swamp two years ago on a lack of scholarships (being FCS still), and went Undefeated in the Sun Belt, and almost beat GA-Tech & NC-State. They have earned the "elite" label in the G5 arena. One can't scratch that label just after the 1st game of the season against a P5.
