I sincerely thought that we were going to be better this year. I was wrong. The defense can't tackle, they need to go back to basics and be shown how it's done. Pass defense? What pass defense? We get burned most of the time and when we're not we can't make a decent tackle there either.

Now our only hope is injured. We have a 5 foot 8 inch specimen at QB who can't do much of anything. I think this is the year that Enemas U. hands it to us. If they don't then it's on them as we don't know how to play football this year. I think we got Ootsa sickness from last year. Remember how good they were with Soza and then last year they sucked? Well, it's our turn to suck.

Basketball can't get here fast enough for me.

But hey, our unis look good on tv.

I doubt it. UTEP is awful and we expected much better. I don't think UTEP will win a conference game this year. Maybe won't even keep them close.

At first I was P'sed that we had Incarnate Word on our schedule. Not so much anymore. It may, MAY be the only game we win or are favored.

Amazing. I don't see how this can be fixed. Our coaches have really let us down. This is malpractice.

You guys are overreacting . We weren't supposed to win these games anyway. I had hoped for 8-5 this season. Now maybe 5-8 is more realistic. But we will not be that terrible.

No one expecting us to beat Arkansas, yes. I don't think that was the case for Tech. You might not have expected to beat them, but no one was thinking they should have beaten us by 50. And, honestly, they could have hung 90 on us if they had wanted.

Our offense is out for at least a game or two. Our defense still hasn't stopped anyone. This definitely isn't an overreaction by stretch of the imagination.

I've said all along that Jones was too small to carry that kind of load. Hopefully, the next two games will bring more options and Kugs will stop riding Jones into the ground.

Perhaps it's time for Utep to start playing these money games like preseason. Save the starters because you aren't going to win anyway.
