It's entirely possible that the intention was simply to keep the best interests of the conference in mind.

Yep.

Sorry, we forgot to tell you.

Step into our office.

This was not an easy decision, but with the recession, and the price of water purification, we are having to do some cutbacks.

We wish you well in all future endeavors.

It's probably because of the WVU game...

Mods... please change thread title to embarrassment thread 4.0

It seemed like a good idea at the time ...

If you want to talk about Liberty, just come to our board. Liberty is not welcome elsewhere. Somehow everyone loses their minds when Liberty gets mentioned. And when I say everyone, I mean everyone from all fan bases.

Have you guys ever sat down and examined what the common denominator is in the "losing of minds" situations between Liberty and (insert fan base here)?

Usually, when there is a problem, finding what is present in every occurrence of the problem leads you to the root cause.

May this post lead you and yours on the path to enlightenment.

04-cheers

The common denominator is people who like to rock the boat. Respect gets thrown out the window in order to be a keyboard bully. Every fan base has their trolls that like to stir the pot. This isn't a "Liberty problem" as you make it out to be.

Wrong. The answer we were looking for was Liberty. Thanks for playing!

04-cheers I guess this is Exhibit A for proving my point. If you can't even agree that every school has trolls that start trouble just because they think it is fun then there isn't much I can do for you. This is assuming of course that you aren't one of those people and you're just pulling my leg but I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt.

Do other boards have a Liberty infestation or is it just ours?

It's such an interesting phenomenon. They spout off on their board after Coastal gets the call up that they are too good for the sun belt anyway. They fully believe they are far above and beyond anything as lowly as a sun belt invitation.

...yet they still get on here and lobby for an invitation.

Quite the paradox, isn't it?

I think it's the worst on the belt board with them. We tried putting out mousetraps, but they wised up to the cheese, I think it's time for rat poison and glue traps.
