Deangelo on one end. Gotti on the other. Great to see two Tigers greats playing in this big game.

Randy Fichtner as well. Deangelo looks like he has found the fountain of youth.

DeAngelo - 54 yards rushing in the first half. He's still got it.

100 yards on 14 carries so far. Takes the ball all the way down the field and someone else gets to take it in for score.

Do not like the new XP though.

Wasn't Mike Tomlin on the Memphis staff as a graduate assistant or something similar? I thought I heard that so time ago.

RE: NFL is Back - Two of the Greatest Tigers in the Spotlight
DW now over 100 yds

I've never had him on any fantasy team (always steered clear of Carolina backs b/c of their platoon system) but I picked him up this week as an injury replacement off the free agent list. He wont be very useful once Bell comes back, but he'll do in a pinch for a couple of weeks.

Wish he'd gotten in the end zone when he got down to the 2.

He'll be getting some touches this season, even with Leveon coming back. He's looking strong tonight

Wikipedia:
"College- Tomlin's coaching career began in 1995 as the wide receiver coach at Virginia Military Institute under former West Virginia University head coach Bill Stewart. He spent the 1996 season as a graduate assistant at the University of Memphis, where he worked with the defensive backs and special teams. Following a brief stint on the University of Tennessee at Martin's coaching staff, Tomlin was hired by Arkansas State University in 1997 to coach its defensive backs. Tomlin stayed there for two seasons, before being hired as defensive backs coach by the University of Cincinnati."

I have always said: 'Dance with the one that brought ya'...
You march all the way down the field sending De'Angelo slashing the edges;
Then, decide to 'mix it up' on the goal line?

I, of course, was focused on 34 all night; and he seemed to be wide open many times as an 'outlet' (released after blocking), but 'Ben' was looking downfield.

Yeah I was screaming for Big Ben to dump it off to him. He's so good in the open field. Pittsburgh is going to love him. Too bad he had to wait until he was 32 to get on a team that could utilize him the way he should have been utilized all along. Big D made us proud tonight!

It's amazing what happens when you actually give him some touches. When's the last time he had 21 carries in Carolina?
