He's a 4* with a grade of 80 on ESPN. They will immediately scramble to downgrade him now that he choose a "lowly G5" over Virginia Tech. I'm posting this to mark it down for laughs later.

Temple has really turned the corner as far as football recruiting is concerned. I'm really excited what we can do with our program over the next few years. The AAC is great for now, but we should be a very attractive ACC candidate should expansion destroy this league.

I like Temple and I'm pulling for you all to do extremely well football wise here in this league but you are getting ahead of your self now. Slow your roll.

The victory over Penn State was phenomenal hands down 04-cheers but one tiny problem/reminder, AAC members are waiting desperately to see if you all can bring it, duplicate that performance regularly vs AAC big boys.

This was the kind of victory that can have a long-term, transformative impact on Temple's program. Good luck and I hope y'all can make the most of it.

Wasn't sure where to put this. I attended the Alabama game today in Tuscaloosa and one of the recruits in the house was walking by me with his cute little handler in the concourse...had a big name tag on his VIP lanyard...name tag said T.J. Simmons. Recognized the name. But was not sure from where....Looked at his profile and he has more hair now but almost positive it was the 4 star Temple commit that UC offered from Florida.

Funny thing is there's another one from the same town:

Not really related, but Penn State beat San Diego State to move to 3-1. Not only does this keeps Temple's victory a quality win, but gives the AAC another leg up on the MWC.

Had a feeling you Owls would do well in the "American" for some reason, why I do not know, but congrats, it's a new day. "American Rising'. We must take down the SEC every chance we get and the other P5's wth great FPI.
