Since when has Baylor and TCU been in the same class as those other 3? 07-coffee3

Baylor won't even schedule decent G5 programs.

When I was at Memphis State our 79 schedule was
Mississippi State
Ole Miss
Texas A&M
Wichita State
Vanderbilt
Northeast Louisiana
Florida State
Louisville
Cincinnati
Tulane

80 was the same with a couple of changes.

By the way, Tulane was really good back then and beat LSU fairly often.

The whole COA thing is a way to whittle-down (or at least, put a cap on) the # of teams playing at the highest level.
