SOT: Virginia Tech QB Brewer suffers broken collarbone
Good news for ECU because

1) We don't play them next!
2) We won't have to face their starter and may be a bit easier.

Would have been a different game had he not gotten hurt. Tech was finding it's groove before that happened.

Brewer said at halftime, it is going to take a lot more than that to keep me out of the game, referencing a hit he took
in the 1st half. Good luck to him.

We have a history of it being their first game or coming in against us. Here's hoping the second game is the right timing for us to play a backup! 03-wink

Yeah that was ominous foreshadowing.

I'm a bit of a Tech fan living in Blacksburg. They looked like they had a shot and as soon as Brewer went out everything went to hell. But I think it was mostly OSU waking up. They have a ridiculous amount of athletes on offense.

Hopefully Brewer comes back sooner rather than later. I'm going to the Furman game on Saturday. Should be interesting.
