A cool little piece of trivia I thought I would bring up...
Back in early 2011 around signing day, Western had verbals from two guys from Delray Beach Atlantic High School. They both got last minute offers to visit Virginia Tech on the last weekend before signing day. Both took the trip to Va Tech and couldnt pass up the opportunity to play for Bud Foster and Frank Beamer.

Those two guys are Luther Maddy and Dadi Nicolas(Wedley Estime).

What could have been with all the studs Cubit almost landed over the years.

We still need our nose in Florida, just not exclusively

As much as I love our commitment to our back yard... I really do think that you need that florida kid now and again... However I think our new involvement in the Chicago and New Jersey arena is paying dividends..

Like I said when people were complaining about our Florida efforts - I don't care if they come from the Moon, as long as they win and as long as they graduate.
