U of M Campus
I visited this weekend from N.C. and I went to the opening tailgate/game. I was very impressed with the main campus and south campus. U of M has never looked better. The banners all around the campus are better than most "P5" conference schools."

U of M is on the move.

RE: U of M Campus
Some group is pumping LOTS OF MONEY into the school. The enrollment has not really grown that much since I was a student in 1968 but...the footprint of the campus and the new buildings is very impressive. Quite a campus.

Like it or not, the fact that we do not have an OCS IS a consideration to those who consider tradition important - and that is most of the P5 schools. Maybe a more important consideration is that an OCS on the long term plan would help demonstrate to the B12 and others that Memphis is willing to make the big commitment to the program that has long been lacking.

I've finally come to terms that an OCS will not happen in my lifetime. And I'm suddenly okay with it. The vast improvements on campus mean so much more. The land bridge over the RR tracks will mean a lot. Drove by the other day, and the situation is as ugly as it was back in the forever ago. Now if we can only get our hands on Audobon Park.

Think big. Think OCS NOW and convocation center or tram to Liberty Bowl and Fed Ex Forum.

The things we've got going are big. From my understanding, more is coming. I'd love nothing more than an OCS, but not to the detriment of the U as a whole. There seems to be a bigger vision underway, and I like it.
