Have any potential successors to Bano been leaked yet?
We've had a great start this year, so far, and I'm wondering if anyones heard anything on the new commish front?
This is a HUGE hire at a critical time in our development.
My hope is that the new commish has a lot of ties to the basketball side of college sports and can help guide us back to being a multiple bid conference. CUSA was originally basketball centric and we have a great portfolio of programs.
Nevertheless, we're seeing some good progress on the football side. Probably moreso than hoop.
One name I'd like to throw out there is Nick Carparelli Jr. He used to work for the Big East before the split, and he has a strong acumen for basketball scheduling. He's also young and a tireless worker. During realignment he was constantly taking to social media.
Anyway, that's my suggestion. We need somebody young that isn't going to treat this job as cash fund to support their "work trips"...
