Question for USM fans
What's the background on #12 on your defense? Dude was everywhere in your game, seemed like he was in on every tackle. One of the transfers or did I just miss him last year?

D'Nerious Antoine, 6'0, 215lb safety. Juco transfer that did not play ball in 2014 after signing out of Juco to play at Oklahoma State. He apparently was a class short at that time.
He signed as a safety, was moved to lb in the spring where he earned a starting job, and beefed up to 230 lbs. Over the summer, he was moved to safety, where he played in juco, and immediately became a starter there.
The coaches have raved about him since he has been on campus. He is a physical presence in the secondary, and performed very well in his first FBS game.

RE: Question for USM fans
He was definitely a beast. Reminds me of some of the dogs you used to always see on a USM defense. Thanks for the info.

I was impressed also. He stripped the MSU runner at the goal line in the first quarter
