Diesel the NIU Huskies mascot was lost to Lymphoma this weekend. It is a sad day in Huskie Nation and our hearts go out to the family and fans who lost one of the most beloved dogs in all of college football.

Sad. I just lost my dog yesterday as well. Both Diesel and Fluffy are together at the Rainbow Bridge in heaven.

What a regal dog...I've always thought Huskies were the best looking dogs out there.
