Another good weekend for volleyball and soccer
Volleyball ended up as co-champs of the Yale tournament, rebounding Saturday with close wins over Rhode Island and Yale (a 2014 NCAA team) after a loss Friday to UC-Santa Barbara.

Soccer improved to 4-1-1 with a 2-1 win tonight over Arkansas (who was receiving votes in the latest top-25 national poll).

Check out the 2nd rice goal. An incredible shot by freshman Annie Walker.

I believe I heard that Kim V. strained a hamstring. I'm not sure the severity of the injury but it was obviously sufficient to sideline her this weekend.

In conference news, UTSA beat #12 Oregon yesterday.

Rice has a chance to take down a Top 25 in this week's home tournament. Rice will face Louisiana Lafayette, Sam Houston, and #23 Colorado.
