Just who do you think wants to go to Dayton? By rail, no less.

Stop drinking inferior marijuana infused beer. Try my brand, High Hops, from Steigerwald-Ibold Plumbing and Brewery.

I was a commuter to Dayton for a year and a half. Had there been rail, I would not have moved north. The reason the government is considering a merger is because of the job interconnection between the two metros. A ton of people commute back and forth.

As far as Dayton being a dump, it has taken me three years to accept this place. I came up here thinking "smaller town, easy-living, friendly people." The first two are true but the last one...Dayton is filled with bitter-mean people. Too many anecdotes for it to be anecdotal. It's a town that's definitely rough around the edges.

Side note: Centerville High School is a top 10 feeder school to UC.

I don't believe the government counts them as a consolidated metro area.
