I was rather impressed with A&M's defense. I don't expect them to hold every team under 20 points by any means, but they were better than I expected against ASU

Without a doubt the SEC was superior in week 1.
Congrats to JR & Auburn in beating Louisville. I thought it was a good game. Both teams came out sluggish but Auburn was able to capitalize & prevented the Cards from being able to do so. I will be pulling for Auburn to win the SEC.

I was impressed with A&M as well. Scoring has never been Sumlin's problem so if Chavis can put down a decent defense game in and game out then the Aggies will be dangerous.

Loved seeing an aggressive A&M defense that attacks and swarms to the ball and tackles in open space! Haven't seen that in years so it warms my heart to see a team that was once known for our "Wrecking Crew" defense finally show up big for an entire game.
Lot of great young talent on this team. Kirk, Murray, Mack and White all looked good in their first college game.
Still a lot of polishing to do and a few more players to get healthy before conference play starts, but you really cant ask for a better opening game.
