To get decent parking you may want to come before noon definitely. There is a lot of parking closer to the LR zoo that's a 4-5 minute walk from the stadium. If you guys are near the armory just please don't park on the side streets (they love to ticket those). I'll come say hi on Saturday for sure. Don't forget that there's a free Brad Paisley concert after the game. There's gonna be loads of cool stuff to do.

Do we know where exactly the concert will be? Just trying to plan to park away from it because I'm sure it will be a mess with people just coming for the concert on top of the gameday crowd.

Pretty sure it will be on the golf course/tailgating area outside the stadium. Don't know why they aren't just having it inside the stadium though.

My weather app says a high of 79 and sunny in Little Rock on Saturday. Yesterday it said it was going to rain. Very unpredictable, but I'm sure the weather won't affect the attendance at all with your strong fan base.

Sorry my friend but the budget is all dollars spent regardless of where they come from. The things you are discussing is revenue that can and does cover expenses in the budget. The budget is the overall amount of money spent to run the entire university. The revenue is where the money comes from such as tuition, athletics, donations. Then you have expenses in the budget where all the money goes to pay the bills such as employees, building maintenance, etc. The primary reason the budget at Arkansas is smaller is because the Medical School/University is a separate entity, if that was included it would be much larger. The endowment at Arkansas is now up to $1 Billion thanks to a recent fund raising drive including the largest gift ever of $300 million from the Walton family. Prior to that drive the Endowment was actually smaller than the current one at UT. Hence the push by our President and your former provost to try and do the same at UT.

Arkansas is not a very big school by any means, but the membership to the SEC and having a big football program certainly goes a long way giving everyone the belief and impression that it is! I wish UT was in the same shoes there. On the other side of the coin, The University of South Florida and the University of Central Florida for example are in the top ten largest universities in the country with almost 70,000 students and budgets that are five times larger then Arkansas but they don't belong to the SEC so some people on the outside looking in might think they are smaller.

University of Miami (Fla) is the same way. (most people don't realize that it is also a private just like Southern Cal.)

We plan on tailgating on the golf course, couldn't tell for sure if the golf course opened at 6am or 7am? Will folks be lined up to get in? We will get there as early as need be.

Swanson, will play. Rockets will play a lot better then last week.

As a fellow Arkansan, stop it. The game has over 10,000 tickets left. It's a redneck drunk fest where we pretend to be West Virginia complete with coaches on a golf course. This is the beginning of the end for games in Little Rock as it truly is a toilet bowl compared to the on campus stadium where all home will soon be.

They'll be more free loading redneck white trash trying to catch the free Brad Paisley concert after the game on the gold course than actual game attendees .

He's talking as if there's something wrong with being a free loading redneck white trasher? Snobs everywhere.

I'm killing myself for missing this and I don't even like country unless it's stacked on mile high legs and daisy dukes. Everyone should go all this out for a game. They should be festivals, not watch and go homes. They're supposed to be about community. Right?
