It's nice to see these powerhouse teams play these kind of teams
Yes, going in we knew that they were loaded with HS All Americans and that their opponent had little chance. None the less it's nice to see Them agree to play this game.
They played them close for awhile, and put up a good effort. That last minute touchdown certainly made it feel closer. Good job Wisconsin!
^this is the backhanded code speak the P5 blowhards use when they play MAC teams.
Alabama 35
Wisconsin 17
It was never a game

True, you listen to p5 peeps and all of their games are nail biters unless they play G5 teams.

MSU and Hollis should be given due credit for scheduling.
Too often these decision makers fold to the pressure of fan bases, insecure Headers and powerful alumni.
In my estimation both programs benefitted both on and off the turf.
I respect the "risk" taken and hold Hollis and others on their end in higher esteem. You can't fold them in with those who hold straw men as excuses.
I understand the liability but it is grossly overstated and given credence.
Fleck understands the physical risk involved but is correct in nothing is gained if nothing is ventured. He may not have wanted two behemoths in the same year but it beats not having anything to actually measure yourself against. We know the MAC is competitive and tough. But to outsiders who dole out the recognition and dough it isn't so.
Congrats to both!

Just saying we don't have to row to the P5s beat. These schools put one oar in the water at a time just like us.

Nor does a hungry angry dog let off the gas. Like us Michigan State is a process driven team. And they were hungry dogs. So no I don't think they were letting off the gas, but rather were following a Prefontain work ethic.

She's just happy when the coxswain is at full mast.
